There is not much to say about this site, or about me, except the fact that I am the person behind this site, and the site is purposely about me. The target group is not determined, so basically this website applies to people who only stumble upon it.

Ergo: "About The Site" will therefore indirectly be "About Me".

I am not an especially interesting person, so why you have ended up at this website reading about whatever I’m writing, you have to tell me.
Be my guest and let me know. Write in my Guest Book, and maybe we have picnic one day...

Although I do not consider myself as an extremely interesting person, I know that I am an extremely unique person! My existent is based on the outcome of accidental chances of circumstantial events, which again are dependent on other outcomes of accidental chances of circumstantial events, etc, etc... Just like the Butterfly Effect.
Therefore; mathematical probability should result in zero chance of me being born at all, and that should make me pretty unique, right?
The downfall off my super ego is that this applies to everyone else out there as well...

If you haven’t figured it out by now, (either from the web address, or the name of the site), my name is Øyvind.
The name Øyvind supposedly connotes something about "Great Warrior" and "To be a Good Friend". Nevertheless; a name is just a name, and the person is the one who make the signification of the name, and not the name toward the person, right?

My last name is Henriksen, which is from the old Norwegian system of making last names, meaning the son of Henrik. My fathers name is not Henrik, as far as I know, so the Henrik in my family, whom this last name origin from, is my father’s uncle…
(For making a long story short: my fathers uncle married the girl who had adopted my father’s uncle’s brother. You got it?)
Therefore; I am the 3rd or 4th generation Henriksen, just depending how you see it.

Except from me being the name Øyvind Henriksen, the person Øyvind Henriksen is more complex. At least I like to think so. I am who I know myself to be!

Who do I really know myself to be?
This is a tricky question, which I am not going to answer...
Not because I want to keep certain mysticism around me, even though that would make me more appealing and interesting, but because I never manage to write anything about myself you would find worth reading. Do not even know if you managed to read the whole down to the bottom at this article, but if you did, then you either have a lot of boring free time on your hand, or I already know you.
